Zunaid Ahmed Palak has been involved in active politics of Bangladesh for the last 25 years. He joined politics when he realized that a righteous political leadership is required to change the fate of the underdeveloped and disregarded Chalan Beel region. At present he is serving as the member of parliament from Natore-3, Singra constituency elected by the public for the third time in a row. Because of his great leadership, he was appointed as the State Minister for Information and Communication Technology by Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in 2014, only at the age of 33. He is currently holding the same post.
Zunaid Ahmed Palak was born on 17th May, 1980. Although he has studied political science and law, currently in the field of Information and Communication Technology, he is leading all young people in Bangladesh under the guidance of Honorable ICT Affairs Adviser Sajeeb Ahmed Wazed. Palak was nominated as “Young Global Leader” in 2016 by the World Economic Forum. In 2018, he was appeared on the list of “World’s 100 Most Influential People in Digital Government” published by Apolitical, a London-based international organization.
